couple of simple question

hey.
first question.
i just bought my self a used sony k790i used and would like to put some pictures i have taken and put them on my computer, but the guy didn't give me a cd for me to be able to upload them. is there a site i can download the program i need.

second question

i just used my sim card from my old phone and put it on the sony, i have a bunch of phone numbers on it but every time i go to my contacts i have to click on option -> SIM contacts... is there a way i don't have to click that all the time, or do i have to re do my contact list one by one ?

thanks in advance.

I think you can copy the contacts from the SIM to the phone directly on the phone.

For josh.p's first question, have you tried to connect the phone to the PC? I think you can use it as a hard drive as well....

Re: couple of simple question

Well I got a K800 and when I connect it to the PC it gives me the option to choose between Phone mode and File transfer. The latter connects as if the phone was a flash memory/hard drive.

Not quite sure if it's the same for your K790 though....

Re: couple of simple question

1 q: try to go to sony ericsson web page and install software becouse your computer wont recognize ur phone as an harddrive cuz it dont have propper drivers. than when u install it , it will show u as REMOVABLE DRIVE: and you can browse it like explorer mode or u can use sony's software for filetransfer!!!

2 q: about ur sim contact . if u had on your old cell all the numbers on the simcard than it wont be a problem to see it ... open the phonebook on ur new phone go to options its 2 scrolls up when u open contacts and then go go ADVANCE and then to usual phonebook and chose SIM contacts and say yes to all what the phone is asking u!

2.1 q: if u hadn't had your contacts on your oldphone simcard but directly on your phone than u copy it first to ur simcard and do the procedure under q2.

Thats it!

P.S sorry about bad english ! I am from Croatia
(if anybody knows where that is)
