News: Sony Ericsson Jalou

The Sony Ericsson Jalou, which is a pretty neat looking clamshell device, is designed more for the women, as it is shorter than a tube or lipstick. With the measurements being only 73mm long, the Jalou has a 2 inch QVGA display that also acts as a mirror with a press of a button and comes with Walk Mate step counter. Other features include:

*Quad-band GSM connectivity
*Tri-band UTMS/HSPA (900 / 1700 / 2100 MHz) – the 1700 3G band promising a release via T-Mobile USA.
* 3.2MP camera with video recording
* Bluetooth 2.0
* Music player with TrackID and PlayNow
* Stereo FM radio
* Google search and Google maps
* Email, IM
* YouTube app

Sony Ericsson Jalou is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2009, in Aquamarine Blue, Onyx Black and Deep Amethyst.

Also pictured is the Sony Ericsson Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana limited edition. It has the same features and specs as that of the Jalou, but only comes in Rose color now and plated in 24 carat gold. Contents include Dolce&Gabbana photos and videos from the women's Autumn and Winter 2010 runway show.

No pricing have been mentioned of either phones as of yet.
