Hello all,
I’ve been struggling with mobile browsing on my P1i for a few days and both Sony and Rogers (my mobile carrier) cannot figure it out. I would greatly appreciate some help from you all because I am stumped:
Once I signed up for unlimited mobile browsing, Sony sent me an SMS with the internet settings. This worked like a charm and I was surfing for about 2 weeks on Opera Mini (because I’ve had some problems with the default browser). All of a sudden, I cannot connect to the internet through either browser. I have tried master reset, updating all software, making sure my mobile account is fine, and nothing seems to work.
For Opera Mini, it says: Failed to connect to the Internet. Go to ________ (an opera mini web address) with your desktop browser or contact your service provider for Internet settings.
For the default browser is says: XML parsing failed: Not well-formed (Line: 1, Character: 0). (It follows with a lot of text and symbols)
I’ve tried everything that I know, but I am not too savvy with technology. Can ANYONE help? If so, I’d be extremely grateful!
Thank you all in advance!

Try going into the menu, settings, connections and make sure the internet settings are set for Rogers.
If you master reset the phone and reloaded the firmware, you will need to have Rogers resend the internet settings to your phone.
