Sony Ericsson has officially announced today three handsets. One of them being the reported Xperia X8 that was mentioned a day or two ago, the Cedar and the Sony Ericsson Yendo Walkman.

The Sony Ericsson Yendo Walkman features: a 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen display, Walkman player, Touch TrackID, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headset jack, social networking
integration (Facebook, Twitter, Orkut), Google search, 2MP camera, and MicroSD card support. The phone doesn’t have 3G, only GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (850/1900 MHz or 900/1800 MHz).

This handset is not an Android phone but should become available in the third quarter of this year in black, green, blue, orange, purple, silver, red, pink, white and yellow.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 features: a 3.0 inch HVGA (320 x 480) touchscreen display, four-corner UI (like the Xperia X10 Mini), HSPA (900/2100 MHz or 800/850/1900/2100 MHz), Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, stereo Bluetooth, 3.2MP camera, 600MHz processor, and a 2GB MicroSD card preinstalled and should become available also in the third quarter and will be available in white, dark blue, aqua blue, pink and silver.

The Sony Ericsson Cedar features: a 2.2 inch screen, 3G, social networking integration, 3.5mm headset jack, and a 2MP camera and is made out of recycled plastic. The phone will be launched in Q3.
