The Sony Ericsson Arc, also known as Anzu has now been officially announced. There were various rumors about the handset which now have been proven true. To start with, the curved design makes the phone look stunning and elegant. The phone is loaded with a 4.2-inch capacitive touchscreen of FWVGA resolution, or as Sony Ericsson calls it, the Reality Display. The phone has a scratch resistant mineral glass to protect the LCD screen and the Bravia Engine Mobile, which could considerably improve the picture quality. The phone also sports an 8 megapixel camera with the new Sony Exmor R sensor which is capable of 720p video recording. And for quick functioning a 1GHz Qualcomm processor comes along with 512 MB of RAM. The phone comes with an 8GB microSD card preloaded. And as people had expected it comes with Android 2.3(Gingerbread) by default.

I have also read about the same article on timtechs and it sounds like it's going to be the best Xperia ever. I hope the release date won't be delayed
