Setting Up Mobile Hotspot over Wi-Fi:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
  2. Browse through your apps drawer and open up "Settings"
  3. Tap "More" under "Wireless & Networks"
  4. Tap "Tethering and Mobile HotSpot"
  5. Mark the "Mobile HotSpot" checkbox
  6. Press "OK"
  7. Tap "Mobile HotSpot settings"
  8. Touch "Configure Mobile HotSpot"
  9. Edit the following settings as you see fit: "Network SSID", "Security", "Password"
  10. Press "Save"
  11. Tap "Power save"
  12. Select one of the following: "After 5 minutes of inactivity", "After 10 minutes of inactivity" or "Never"

Enabling / Disabling Mobile Hotspot:

  1. Tap the "Applications" icon located on the home screen
  2. Open "Settings"
  3. Press "More" under "Wireless & Networks"
  4. Tap "Tethering and Mobile HotSpot"
  5. Mark or unmark the "Mobile HotSpot" checkbox to enable or disable the feature
  6. Tap "OK"

Tethering Via USB:

Tethering allows you to share your mobile data connection with your computer. Keep in mind that depending on your contract, tethering may result in extra charges.

  1. Connect your smartphone to your PC via the USB cable that came with your smartphone
  2. Press the "Applications" icon on the home screen
  3. Go to "Settings"
  4. Under "Wireless & Network", press "More"
  5. Tap "Tethering and Mobile Hotspot" and then mark the checkbox associated with "Tethering"
  6. Press "OK" to confirm
