  9. After registering the account, allow it to sync contacts with your Xperia T3

Using the "Contacts" Application and the "Import / Export" Function:

Using the "Contacts" app on the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 you can export the contacts stored on your device in the form of a VCF file, which can then be sent to the Sony Xperia T3 via email or using a computer.

  2. Access the "Contacts" tab
  3. Press "Menu" and tap "Contacts to display"

  10. Send the email to your Gmail address
  11. Switch over to the Sony Xperia T3 and open the email
  12. Download the attached vCard file and launch the "Phone" application
  13. Access the "Contacts" tab and tap "menu" > "Import contacts"
  14. Select to import the contacts from storage / SD card (depending on where the file has been downloaded)
  15. If necessary, choose an account before loading the vCard file, and tap "OK"

NOTE: you can transfer the vCard file from the Ace 3 to the Xperia T3 by means of a computer. All you need to do is connect both smartphones to the PC via USB once the files have been exported in a vCard file. Then, you can manually transfer the VCF file from the Ace 3 to the Xperia T3's storage

Using "Send Anywhere" to Transfer Contacts:

Finally, you can also use third party applications in order to transfer the contacts stored on your Ace 3. Send Anywhere is an application that can be used to transfer various types of files and contacts cross-platform, through a peer-2-peer connection. As such, you are not required to have access to a computer in order to complete this guide:

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install "Send Anywhere" on both of your smartphones
  2. Once installed, launch the app on both handsets
  3. From the Galaxy Ace 3, tap "Send" > "Contacts"
  4. Choose the contacts that you want to transfer
  5. Tap "Send"
  6. Finally, select the desired method of transfer. You can tap "Generate QR Code" on the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 in order to create a QR code that can be scanned with the Xperia T3's camera to begin the transfer. Alternatively, you can tap "Receive" on the Xperia T3 and input the randomly generated code from the Ace 3 to commence the contact transfer
