    Checking the Amount of Free Storage:

    1. While on the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Go to "Device" and tap "Storage"
    4. You can check the available values under "SD card"

    Formatting the SD Card:

    WARNING! Formatting the SD card will result in the deletion of all data stored on it, including audio files, contacts, downloaded content, images etc. It's advised that you create backups before proceeding. To format the SD Card:

    1. Tap "Apps" while viewing a home screen
    2. Go to "Settings"
    3. Swipe to "Device" and tap "Storage"
    4. Tap "Erase SD card" under "SD card"
    5. Tap "Erase SD card" a second time to confirm

    Deleting or Opening Files Stored on the SD Card:

    1. While viewing the home screen, tap "Apps"
    2. Open "File Commander"
    3. Tap "Register later" to skip the registration process, or tap "Register now" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. NOTE: registering is optionally
    4. Follow one of the steps below:
      • To open a file: navigate to it and tap it
      • To delete a file: locate it, tap and hold it, then tap "Delete" and press "OK" to confirm

    Opening or Deleting Files via a Computer:

    1. Connect the Sony Xperia C3 to your computer via USB
    2. From the AutoPlay window on your PC, click to browse the smartphone's files and folders
    3. Go to the SD card storage and locate the desired files
    4. To delete a file, right-click and select "Delete"
    5. To open a file, double-click it
    6. Once you're ready, safely disconnect your smartphone by clicking the "Mass Storage Device" from the system tray

    Transferring Files Between the SD Card and Internal Storage:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch the "File Commander" application
    3. Mark the check boxes associated with the files you wish to transfer
    4. Tap "Copy" and go to the location you wish to transfer the file to
    5. Tap "Edit" > "Paste"

    Transferring Files Between the SD Card and Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between your Xperia C3 and computer
    2. From the AutoPlay window on the PC, select to browse the phone's files
    3. Locate the desired files stored on the phone's SD storage
    4. Copy the files and navigate to the desired location on your PC, then paste the files there
    5. Alternatively, you can also locate files on the computer's HDD, and transfer them from the PC to the SD card
    6. Once you're done transferring files, click "Safely Remove Hardware" from the system tray
    7. Click "Safely Remove Mass Storage Device" > "OK"

    Changing the Default Memory Location for Apps:

    NOTE: By default, most pre-loaded applications are set to store data on the phone's internal memory. However, you can set these apps so that they can store data on the SD card instead. Below you will find an example on how you can change this option in the "Camera" application

    1. Launch the "Camera" app
    2. Go to the camera's "Settings" menu
    3. Swipe to and tap "Data storage"
    4. Select "SD card" and the app will now store data on the phone's external memory

    Can you help me? Its seems like suddenly i cant delete or paste files from my pc to my xperia c3. Suddenly it became read only. Please help me fix this thank you
