Add Contacts:

  1. Open the apps drawer
  2. Launch “Contacts”
  3. Tap “+” and select an account to store the contact on (Optionally tap “No backup” to store the contact locally)
  4. Enter the contact’s name and phone number
  5. Add any other details you might want and tap “Save” when ready

Create a Contact from a Text Message:

  1. Tap “Apps”
  2. Open “Messaging”
  3. Tap the “Contacts” icon
  4. Tap “Save” and select an existing contact, or tap “Create new”
  5. Edit the contact information as you see fit
  6. When ready, tap “Save”

Edit an Existing Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Tap the contact you want to edit
  3. Tap the “Edit” button shaped like a pencil
  4. Perform the necessary changes
  5. When done, tap “Save”

Import Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap “Menu” > “Import contacts”
  3. Select “SD card”
  4. Choose the contact file you want to import and tap “OK”

Import Contacts from the SIM Card:

  1. Open “Contacts” and press “Menu”
  2. Tap “Import contacts”
  3. Select “SIM card”
  4. Choose the contacts you want to import, or tap “Import all”

Add a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. From the customization menu, tap “Widgets & Apps”
  3. Tap “Shortcuts”
  4. Browse the list of apps and select “Direct Dial”
  5. Select the contact and phone number you want to use for direct dialing

Delete Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the contact you want to delete
  3. To delete all contacts, you can tap the icon shaped like an arrow pointing downwards and select “Mark all”
  4. Tap the “Trash can” icon
  5. Tap “Delete” to confirm

Add a Contact to a Caller Group:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap the “Edit” icon
  4. Tap the bar under “Groups” and mark the check box associated with the desired group
  5. Tap “Save”

Create and View Favorite Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts” and select the contact you want to add to favorites
  2. Tap the “Star” icon to add the contact to favorites list
  3. You can view favorite contacts by tapping “Favorites” in the “Contacts” app
