  6. Connect the Xperia Z5 to your computer via USB, transfer the file to the phone storage and use the “Contacts” app to import its contents to the phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: The two methods above require access to a computer connected to the Internet, but alternatively you can also transfer your contacts by using third party applications. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can be used to back up and transfer your contacts via email.

  5. Send the email to your own address
  6. Switch to the Xperia Z5 and open the email, then download the attached VCF file
  7. Import the file’s contents using the “Contacts” application

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Last but not least you can use “Send Anywhere” – another third party app for iOS and Android, which uses a P2P connection to transfer contacts, cross-platform, without the need of a computer.

  1. Install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Visit the Google Play Store and install the same app on the Xperia Z5
  3. Launch the application on both smartphones
  4. Tap “Send” on the iPhone and select “Contacts
  5. Choose the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
