Create a Contact:

  1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
  2. Open “Contacts”
  3. Tap “+”
  4. Select an account type to sync the contact with it, or tap “No backup” to store the contact on the phone
  5. Enter the contact’s name, phone number, and other details
  6. When ready, tap “Save”

Crete a Contact from Messaging:

  1. Open the “Messaging” app
  2. Tap the “Contacts” icon
  3. Tap “Save” and select an existing contact, or tap “Create new”
  4. If necessary, edit the contact information
  5. Tap “Save”

Edit an Existing Contact:

  1. Open “Contacts” and select the contact you want to edit
  2. Tap “Edit” (icon depicting a pencil)
  3. Edit the desired options
  4. When ready, tap “Save”

Import Contacts from the SD Card:

  1. Launch “Contacts” and press “Menu”
  2. Tap “Import contacts” > “SD card”
  3. Choose the contact backup file you want to import
  4. Tap “OK”

Import Contacts from the SIM Card:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Press “Menu” > “Import contacts”
  3. Select “SIM card”
  4. Choose the desired contacts and tap “Import all”

Add a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap and hold an empty area on the home screen
  2. Select “Widgets & Apps”
  3. Tap “Shortcuts”
  4. Select the “Direct Dial” widget
  5. Choose the contact you want to associate with the direct dial widget

Delete Contacts:

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap & hold the contact you want to delete
  3. Tap the “Trash can” icon and press “Done”

NOTE: To delete all contacts, open “Contacts”, then tap the icon shaped like an arrow pointing down, and tap “mark all” > “trash can” > “delete”

Add Contacts to Favorites:

  1. Open “Contacts” and select the desired contact
  2. Tap the “Star” icon next to the contact to add it to favorites
  3. To vie the list of “starred” contacts, open “Contacts” and tap “Favorites”

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

  1. Open “Contacts”
  2. Select the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit”
  4. Tap under “Groups” to select an existing caller group
  5. Tap “Save”
