love this phone
I just recently traded in my siemens sl56 for the sony ericsson t616 because the sl56 was defective(turns off constantly). And this phone is better in every way. All the features are almost fully customizable, very user friendly, and the 65k color screen is nice. I don't really care for the camera but its still a nice feature to have.

They're the best non-smartphone on the market at the moment. (Some nice new releases coming soon though).
Kamalu, there is PSMPlayer but I'm not sure if it's mac compatible.

Had mine for about two weeks now, very pleased so far.
Can't really think of much that hasn't already been said, but the low storage space is a minor setback. Though if you get rid of some of the crap that comes with the phone in the ways of boring pics and annoying ringtones you can free up some extra kb for the good stuff.
I even read some guide how to get rid of the presets that you normally can't delete at www.t610archive.com or something.
The camera is a bummer in low light but in daylight it get's the job done, ie being a cool feature in a cell phone. So the quality is pretty much as is to be expected... I use it for MMS antics like taking pics of me having a beer and sending it to friends still at work etc...
The increasing ringtone stuff is some kinda bull**** safety thing from SE and won't be removed as far as I know, unless some dude finds a way to hack the phone. =)I'm nothing, I'm no one.

camera not impressive(doesn't replace a digital camera by far!).
only 2 mb memory
also one more minus is it is very hard to see the screen in the sun light!! but the phone is very very good!!!!

got the T616 2 weeks ago... the dealer gave me a crazy deal on it (I got the phone for free, basically). I had to sign up with cingular though, which may or may not be a good thing.
I really like the phone, especially since its my first camera phone... maybe the novelty will wear off after a while, but for now, I'm really into it. and of course, with bluetooth, its even better... It's pretty cool browsing your PC with your phone, and vice versa to transfer files.

I have recently gotten this phone, as well... The camera isn't spectacular, but it's handy to have around. :-) And this phone has gotten me hooked to bluetooth!!

Awesome fone, just its splashed with t-mobile on every menu i go on which i hate. why cant they just leave mobiles fones alone. its enough you pay line rental and dont get coverage in every area you go in.... but apart from that the fone is awesome.

T610
I have had mine for a week and im not impressed with the build quality, the joystick has broke and im waiting for it to be fixed at the moment. Apart from that there arnt many phones that have as many features as the T610 such as the bluetooth but you have to ask yourself will you use all of them?

If there is something wrong with the build quality it probably has to do with that you have gotten a faulty phone because I have never heard anyone complain about the build quality otherwise. The only downside I see is that the black finish is a bit too easy to scratch if you're not careful
