T610 startup picture

Does T610 allow animated gif for its startup picture? I made one for it but it doesn't work, I don't know whether if the file is too large or the phone doesn't allow animated gif for its startup picture.

yeah I made an animation too.

But when i set it as the start-up screen,it would only show the first frame.

I'm kinda thinking that you can only set stills as the start-up screen.

But the preset one is really good anyway

If you have a datacable, there's a 3rd party firmware hack that lets you do it. google it

How about infared connection? What is the name of the program?

T610 will only show animated gif when it activates the screensaver. ie when phone is keylocked and before the screen backlight dimmed off.

Other than that, setting an animated gif to become wallpaper, startup screen, or even caller ID will only display first frame.
