What do you guys think of this first playoff match for the Lakers?

i honestly thought they should've gave the portland game away and got the mavericks in the first round, but kobe bryant is the man, so looks like the lakers will win... probably in 5 games

man l.a. and houston is gonna be a good match up. kobe man with that 1.1 shot was so tite!

if yao shows up then it'll be fun to see it go the full 7 games. if the refs are idiots and get shaq & yao in foul trouble then whatever. its the playoffs! let em go!!!!

well that was an ugly game. its fitting it ended on an airball and a putback

hopefully the rest of the series will be this close and not blowouts like the other playoff matchups so far

man that game was sloppy on both ends! seriously 50 points after the 3rd quarter for both teams. I think they were both nervous.

what the hell happenend after halftime? no offense at all. no defense either. the rockets can hang with the lakers for so long, but eventually the "it" factor that seperates the good teams from the great teams kicks in. that makes all the difference


on an unrelated note, phil jackson talks an awful lot of sh*t and takes an awful lot of credit when hes got guys like jordan, pippen, rodman, shaq, glen rice, & kobe winnin his championships for him.

well.. there goes one game for any houston fans.. they played well tonight

so anyway houston mcdonalds are running this promotion- the day after a rockets' playoff win fans can purchase a bigmac for however many points the rockets score (ex. if they had won game 1 we would've paid like 75 cents for a big mac that next day). you should've seen me begging them not to score anymore at the game of end 3

well whatever i'm gettin my 5 bigmacs for 5.10 tomorrow (limit 5... per location)

the rockets are a great team and all... but kobe and the lakers are just too much....

yep LA can turn it on at any time. rockets havent learned to do that yet. got all the talent, just gotta put it together and mature. they're putting up a hell of a fight for a team w/o any playoff experience other than mark & jimmy jackson. i didnt expect to see this much heart from them. if they take that and the playoff learning experience and carry it over to next season, then we should be fine for the upcoming couple of years


oh yeah and i'm sick of bigmacs alerady if u can believe it
