Which phone?

Just looking for opinions, will be switching from Tmobile to Sprint in a couple of weeks. I care only about the phones size, weight and number capacity, flip, text mssgng. As for the camera or anything else, great if it's on the phone, don't really care if it isn't.

The v1660 looks ok, but the lack of outside screen is kind of annoying. vi 5225 from LG looks ok too...any thoughts?

The LG phones are supposed to be better at picking up signals, this means you will have better reception and clearer audio. Very important.

I have a VI660, and the dual band /tri mode makes this the best Sprint phone I have ever had.

Thanks for the thought. How does yours do outside the pcs network...for my job I travel a lot and mostly to non-metro destinations, off network performance is a concern?

Do you miss the caller id on the outside? can you turn off the flip to answer function with the 1660?

I just got the 660 two weeks ago, my wife uses it.
I now can reach her at work inside a concrete basement, amazing. I think it roams onto Verizon when no Sprint signal is present.
You can deactivate the flip on switch, I think they come that way out of the box. Bought mine at Costco, much cheaper than Sprint store and didn't have to sign a contract.
Have not tried it in Canada yet, but if it is like my trusty A400, it will be superb on digital and Analog.

In the last 6 months alone I ve had the 5500, 4050, 8200, and the 6225 all from sprint. I would say my favorites are the Nokia 6225 but the battery life was not good, the 5500 still the number one in popularity followed by the 8200 which is a very good phone...slowing becoming the number one. I have a red 8200 with red LEDS. CHECK OUT A PICTURE.

When stores get a shipment the reds are the first to sellout...I was told they are limited production run like the colors on the 8100...I think that would be a poor decision because if they are in demand keep selling them....I love mine and since I got it for FREE- I really love it...The local GOODGUYS was running an ad for a free 8200 after mail in rebate...my local store matched it instantly....on a new line....I sent it out and had the old boring green LEDS changed to RED......
