Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place, but I need some info about Virgin Mobile.
My birthday is coming up in a week and my parents are letting me pick out a relatively cheap cell phone with a cheap plan, just so I can use it for emergencies and whatnot.
So far I've found two plans which seem pretty good. The one I'm wondering about and seriously considering is Virgin Mobile.
The website kinda explains it, but I'd rather get feedback from actual users.
Are their phones any good? I don't wanna spend like a $100 on a phone... so I was looking at some of their cheaper ones, that are like $40. Are those any good?
Exactly how does the plan work? And I also don't understand the thing about paying $20 every 90 days. What is that for?
I would really appreciate any feedback.
I don't wanna get a crappy phone from them, then have to cancel and get another one from somewhere else. I'd rather just get one phone and stick with it. I don't need it for anything but emergencies, so is it worth considering?

Also, if anyone has any info on AllTell, that would be good too. I'm trying to decide whether I wanna go with their 300 minute/$30 a month plan. It seems pretty good. But once again, it's better to get feedback from actual users.
