Ok So I Understand That Nextel Bought Sprint. Does This Mean I Can Now Buy A Walkie Talkie Print Phone And Be Able To Chirp People With Boost Phones Or Nextels? I Read A Previous Post And Some One Said This Was Not Pocible. Just Wanna Get It Straight

The bigger the merger the longer it takes to get the thumbs up from everyone. If someone gives a thumbs down the merger might not go threw.
Sprint is buying Nextel not Nextel buying Sprint.
Sprint is thinking about getting rid of the wireline local telephone network they have if this merger happens.The best provider gives you a plan with the minutes you need at the right price. The coverage that you need to make calls all the time.

sprint is buying nextel huh... thought it was the other way around... can't wait till interoperability comes about

Here is something I think is interesting
NYNEX bought out Bell Atlantic to become Bell Atlantic
Nations Bank bought out Bank America to become The Bank of America
Norwest Bank bought out Wells Fargo to become Wells Fargo
