Hey all, heres the deal, i cant figure out if the Samsung A680 has a sim card that id be able to get my numbers to. I cracked the screen of my phone when i took it out in a training excercise (dumb on my part, yes i know), but now i cant view anything on the screen... luckily i had voice dial enabled before this went down , but i need to get a new phone, and i will lose a LOT of numbers that i dont have copied anywhere... if anybody could help me out I would Very greatly appreciate it. Nope. the only thing you can do is take it to a sprint store and they can remove your phone book and put it on a new phone for you and thats the bottom line. Sprint does not have a GSM network they work off of CDMA and does not requier a chip for service.

no chip sucks i rather use gsm cause i can change to any phone whenever i like

You could get the data cable for your phone. The same thing happened to me. I could dial, but couldn't read the screen. All the info is still there. If you get the data cable, you can transfer all the numbers to your computer... then later transfer it to your new phone. DataPilot software is available at Best Buy and many retailers.. and it comes with the cable too. Or, you can get the cable for less money on ebay, then find software. Sprint can also make a hard copy print out off the phone's info. They can transfer it to another phone too.
