anyone worried about teh merger of Sprint and Nextel? What are some of your concerns?

I think it will be ok, but I am concerned maybe about some network problems..... Hopefully It will turn out A-OK

what about the technologies?! sprint is a CMDA, but nextel is exclusive, lol
If they choose to keep only one, forget about unlocking to sprint, lol . Also, im worried... wats gonna happen to boost mobile?

The networks are going to remain seperate until about 2010. The two systems are compatible at this time, they're looking at ways to integrate both technologies but the most likely time the networks will merge is with the release of Sprint's upgraded network around 2008 - 2010.

this merge will only make things worse for nextel customers...sprint's coverage sucks, and if they merge networks it will make nextel's coverage horrible..nextel is already one of the best companys with the best service and adding sprint will be one of the worst things to happen to nextel..everyone with nextel is pissed about this merge....and the new name is not Sprextel, its just gonne be Sprint.

I have a sprint and my mom has a nextel i told her that her life was over. Nextel be warned.this merge will only make things worse for nextel customers...sprint's coverage sucks, and if they merge networks it will make nextel's coverage horrible..nextel is already one of the best companys with the best service and adding sprint will be one of the worst things to happen to nextel..everyone with nextel is pissed about this merge....and the new name is not Sprextel, its just gonne be Sprint.
