Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I searched and couldn't find anything asking the same question. I am looking for a Sprint phone that has both bluetooth and speakerphone. I know the Treo 650 does, but I'm looking for something a little cheaper and non-PDA. The closest I've found is the LG PM 325, but its speakerphone is only for listening, not duplex. Has anyone heard if they have one coming out soon? Thanks for your help.
Mike

a little help
I currently work at a sprint store and can give you a little help with your problem,
First, you DO NOT want to buy the lg 325 it is a horrible phone in regards to blue tooth use
you could alternatively buy anyother bluetooth capable phone (preferbly the A920 it is the best) and buy the supertooth device for your bluetooth phone, it is a speakerphone device at sprint that can be used in your car or office, it's really cool,

Stay away from the Samsung A900. It has a Bluetooth incompatibility that Sprint denies and and Samsung denied for the last two weeks. they finally got religion and admitted the problem exists. Basically, the Samsung A900 is not Bluetooth compaitble. You get phantom ringing from hand-free car kits...even the Samsung car kit. Samsung says it is guaranteed but if you open the box (packaging), you can't return it. What kind of guarantee is that?!

You may be right. If it were my own phone and not a company issue I would do that. My chief complaint with the phone is that it was sold as Bluetooth compatible. That's not really true. There are so many problems with the Bluetooth connection it is virtually useless. I am accustomed to new technology and am patient with "bugs" but won't tolerate techies "B.S."ing me. Bluetooth certified a phone that isn't, Sprint sells a phone they market as Bluetooth enabled, and Samsung manufactured the phone and distributed it with serious bugs. My purpose in spreading the word on all these forums is to warn prospective buyers. I wish I had been on the forums a month ago because I could have saved our company a lot of money and aggravation.
Does the A920 also have Bluetooth compatibility issues. Other forums would suggest so.
