I don't like any of the handsets that Sprint has to offer and would like to keep my exisiting phone or buy a VZW one to use on Sprint. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I didn't say it was impossible, but it's highly unlikely that you will be able to use that Verizon phone on Sprint. Don't be fooled by people who say they can unlock a CDMA phone in the USA, because if you did somehow get it activated, it would likely roam all the time and you wouldn't be able to use data services like the text and browser capabilities.
Sorry to be the one to tell you... GSM phones are the ones you can unlock. | | |

Would there be any way of legitimately specially ordering a vx8500 for sprint. From the actual manufacturer or maybe buying an unlocked version from overseas from where its directly made?
Take for instance the LGKG800- could i buy that unlocked phone and set it up with my sprint service?
