Hey guys, I called up costumer care and told them that Cingular was offering me earlier nights and weekends. I ended up getting 7 P.M nights and weekends yay! Anyway, Im still unclear how I should go about taking fuill advantage of this. How logn should i wait before I call back? Should I call back and ask for free text messages? Then should I call back and ask for free first free incoming minute? Or should I ask all at the same time? Should I try the whol cngular was offering me routine....? How long after should I ask for sero? Which is the best department to call to get the best chances of getting sero? I know its a lot of questions, sorry I just get excited after hearing all these things people are getting! Thanks so much!

Re: Getting Free Perks and Sero

I'm wondering if they made changes to your plan that have renewed your 2yr contract. If you were on an old plan and got switched to Fair & Flexible, the Nights & Weekends starting at 7pm are just part of that plan, no extra charges. Sprint doesn't have "first free incoming minute" but they do have free incoming plans, if you receive a whole lot more calls than you make that might be worth looking into.

If I'm not mistaken, unlimited text messaging is $15/month. They might give it to you free the first month as they tried to offer me, but if you forget to cancel it after that free month you start paying for it. If you renewed your contract by changing to F&F, the "Cingular offered me..." ploy won't work because that usually only works when you are out of contract or nearing the end of your 2yr agreement.

If you call them back and find that you have unknowingly renewed your contract, you can get them to reverse the changes, but only if you call right away! Otherwise, you have 90 days from the beginning of a new agreement to make changes to your plan without renewing your contract, after that 90 day period, most plan changes will renew the 2yr term.

Wow you had a lot of questions, did I miss anything?

EDIT: Oh yeah about the SERO, I'm afraid I know nothing about that! Are you talking about a Treo? I tried to google some info about it but it was all scattered around and I'll have to read up on it now so I know next time, maybe I can get back to you later.

lol yeah yeah I know there are al ot of questions. I jsut signed up for sprint like 3 days ago so i am still in my 15 day trial period so I dont think they changed my plan (free incoming 500). I am trying to take advantage of the free perks and then switch to the sero plan... you dont happen to have a sprint employees email do you ;-).

    Really??
Wonder how many Sprint employees have been terminated due to this?
I'd guess that thousands of non-employees have the SERO plan. That's a lot of people out of work, according to you.
Maybe you should take a look at the site, where it says it's for friends and family of Sprint employees. You obviously know all there is to know about Sprint, so I won't bother giving you the link.

Re: Getting Free Perks and Sero

I haven't gotten lucky getting SERO. I tried over and over and did not succeed. I call at night to try and get it. One has to really keep calling though I feel a SERO coming soon
Sprint: Hey, why don't you switch to our network? We're just like them...
    Guy: Ummm, are you reliable?
    Sprint: Excellent question!
Guy: How about for emails or downloading music?
    Sprint: Why Not!?
