Looking for some advice on the return policy with Sprint.
I signed up a few days ago with sprint and was told about the 30 return policy if I don't like the service.
Well, it isn't working that well.
I want to switch over to T-Mobile and keep my same number. Can I sign up with T-Moble and transfer the numbers to cancel the Sprint service?
Any advice will help.
Thanks.

Re: Sprint 30 return period
Would be a question for Sprint to answer on there policy. but why t mobile, yuck. I am aware that you got 30 days yes to cancel and you pay for the minutes used. Easy thing is to give them a call.

Re: Sprint 30 return period
Sprint will charge you the ETF if you port your numbers even if it is within the trial period. You will need to return your phone in the same condition you bought it with all the accessories it came with, and Sprint will cancel the numbers you activated so that you will not be charged the ETF.

Re: Sprint 30 return period
So the only way it seems that I can not get the ETF and keep my original number is to return the phones and accessories to the store I bought them, and then transfer over to another carrier???

Chris,
Thanks a bunch for your help. I have everything all solved and it was good to hear what you said, because it helped my case.
The lady doesn't like her new phone and wanted to switch carriers, but with your info, and a little sales on my part, she picked a new sprint phone to switch to.
Thanks again!

Yeah, the guy at the store said 30 days. I thought it was 14 as well.
Either way, I am keeping this phone. It is really nice and the service is great. Thanks for all the info provided!!!

Re: Sprint 30 return period
it's 30, but I swapped the katana for the a900 and they gave me a hard time... even though the katana was defected and I only had it for 3 days, they wanted me to pay in full before (they charged the phone to my account, and it wasn't due for 15+ days) they sent me the a900, then they would credit my account the money, then they would mail me a check back 15 days later.. I flipped.. gave hell for 2 hours then said I would cancel and they gave in and just mailed me the a900.

Re: Sprint 30 return period
I think it depends on the state as to wether it is 30 days or 14 days.
