I have a Sanyo PM-8200 and I am trying to figure out how to download an mp3 file from my computer to the phone to use as a ringtone. Anyone have any ideas?
Actually, the mp3 is the "Are you ready for some football" from Monday Night Football and if anyone has that in ringtone format already and can point me in the right direction for download...I'd be eternally grateful.

If it is 30 seconds or less, you can use "MBuzzy" to make it into a ringtone and send it to your Sprint phone for free. Nifty huh??

Re: Ringtone HELLLPPP
Yes the Katana only supports .qcp and .mid ringtones. A plugin is like if you want to play a video clip on your browser on you PC you will need Quicktime or Windows Media Player Plugin to view it. So I say it would be the same for the phone.

Re: Ringtone HELLLPPP
The Katana from everything I personally could find on it only supports qcp and midi ringtones. Also the plugin needed means that whatever you downloaded your phone doesnt support. There isn't actually anyplace to download a plugin.
The 8200 according to the sprint developers site will also only support qcp and midi ringers. Once converted you can use an uploader to easily send the file to your phone.

It's a trial and error thing you'll just have to test on your phone, but PLEASE let us know if it works!

Brad this trick works with the a920 as well. Change the .mp3 to .m4a and you can use mp3 ringers on a 920 I figured this out from boredom one night...

I have the razr with sprint and was wondering if there is any way to get a free ringtone on it without having to download it using ur phone and getting charged per-kilobyte downloaded. I know there are sites that will send the ringtone to your phone, but have to download it.
