I have the second phone line on my ex girlfriends account, is there a way I can set the number up to have my name, so when I call and someone has caller ID, they see my name and not hers?? Also, can I set a password up just for my phones account?? I don't want her to see some of the content I share. Thank you for all your help. I would just call and find out myself but they won't talk to me because I don't know all of her info and she definatly will not tell me her info (more or less her SSN).

    Re: Name And Password

If she is the primary account holder, she can call them and have them put your name on the caller ID. I have 3 lines on my account and we all have our own names listed. You can setup a different password for your picture mail account, but all she has to do is call Sprint and ask them what it is. They can pull up your password and read it to her.

    Re: Name And Password

I know what the password is. My question was if I could set up a password on my phone number so she can't log into my phones account on the internet at her house. Another question is, can she see who I text message?? I mean does it show the numbers I send and receive text messeges to and from. I think she has the bill show everything there is available. When I had sprint in my name, they said I could save $5.00 by getting the simple view. By doing that it saved them ink and paper and me some money. Now you can get you bill emailed and save $5.00 instead.

    Re: Name And Password

The detailed statement shows all of the outgoing numbers called, but it doesn't show the numbers for any incoming calls or for text messaging (sent or received). There is no way to conceal this information from the primary account holder, it's printed right on her bill. I get online statements like many people, the detailed statement is available to view in PDF format.

Oh wow, I just re-read that and it makes sense now. Before I thought you were thinking the password was unknown. Now I understand what you're saying. Yeah that's true, no point for me to put a password on the account. She could just call and find out what it is.

Well anyways, I think the ex is turning my line off to probably give to her new ugly boyfriend. Since I have had sprint before and owe them about $500.00 USD I can't get service from them again any time soon. Any suggestions?? Thank you.

    Re: Name And Password

Excuse me!! WTF kind of suggestion was that??

First off, she gave me her second line that was pre-existing before I ever met her.
Secondly, I based my whole life off of that phone number. Like I said before, I have had "Sprint" before and I owe them money. How in the hell does that mean I'm using women for money?? I have paid the whole freakin' bill while me and her were together, so why don't you shut your fat mouth and keep your idiotic remarks to yourself and always remember, think before you speak.

    Dumb ass.

You asked for suggestions, I gave you a few.
As far as paying the bills go: why are you paying her effin bill? Stop paying her's, pay off you're own debt to Sprint and get your own phone.

    Re: Name And Password

Who ever said I was still paying it?? Again, what king of suggestion was that?? A suggestion isn't telling a full time working man to go get a job and stop using women to pay the bills.

Raincheque, your remark was uncalled for and based on a poor assumption about someone you don't even know. If you felt that RooDlux was being especially harsh toward his ex, you may have been offended by what you perceived as chauvanistic, but remember that breakups are often very harsh for all parties involved and RooDlux might have legitimate reasons for feeling the way he does about this woman. Still, I would caution RooDlux to be respectful toward women in general when posting on our site, and while your frustration is understandable, bashing your ex is bound to offend someone.
