Like others who have posted here, I have been getting calls from this number which only ring twice and then disconnects. When I call the number I hear a recording that indicates it is Sprint with new promotions and I can enter my number to be placed on a do not call list. I did that the first three times but calls kept coming. I then called Sprint support and was assured it would be fixed. The calls kept coming. Today I asked to have this fixed again and was transferred to Sprint Executive Services. The rep told me it takes 30 days to have the calls stop, when I advised I wanted it fixed today and a credit given for my wasted time I was offered $1 per call, which I refused. We agreed to $25 total credit and I was assured this problem will stop within 7 days, which satisfied me today. Should the problem continue after 7 days, I would like to know what options others have used to correct the problem, including formal complaints to FTC.

I would recommend the National Do Not Call Registry (it's a .gov site, that's US govt) to EVERYONE, the only thing I get now is an occasional survey or during election time, recorded messages from politicians. I used to get tons of telemarketer calls and it all stopped.
As for your individual complaint, how long has it been since the first time you requested to be removed from the list? They are supposed to tell you how long it will take them to remove you. I've been told 48 hours by some of them, 7-10 days by others... during which time they can sometimes call again. I really understand your frustration, and if you're sure they've had ample time to remove you from their list, yet they continue to call, perhaps you should contact the FTC. You're certainly not the first person I've heard complaining about that number, in fact I'm sure you googled the number and found this site as a result of other peoples' complaints. I'm sorry about your frustration, but I hope it all works out.

From what I've read this is a type of phishing or spoofing over the phone from call centers outside of the US. These calls are being made fraudulently and the do not call list would not apply! They are trying to get personal information from you! Beware.
