Transferring Contacts

I know that you can take your old phone into the Sprint store and they'll transfer your address book over to your new phone (assuming they still do that anyway), but I'm just curious, is there a way of transferring all of your old pictures you've taken or been sent, from one phone to another without manually doing each one of them by sending them??

I don't think it'll work with the Samsung VGA1000 which is what my old phone is. Or is there a cable I can buy for it? I have the cable to hook my fusic up to the laptop, but not sure how to do the other phone.
