I recently discovered a problem sprint made on my bill. I had purchased an AirCard and then returned it within the 30 days because it turned out I did not need it as I had originally thought. I had not received a bill because they forgot to update my address to a current one so it had been going to my parents place which was the address I had used before when I had my Sprint phone up until a year ago.

I then got a call from my parents and my mom told me there was several sprint bills lying there and she opened one and said my balance was $160 and one said there was an early termination fee of $200. I went to the sprint store and talked with the rep who sold me the phone and he gave me the number to call in about it which I did tonight. I talked to a rep and explained my situation, he told me my balance was at the $160 (he didn't know why I had any bill with an early termination on it, must have just been a mistake on one of the bills) I then asked him why it was so high and it was because they never canceled my service so he forwarded me to accounting. I explained to him that I had got the card to try and it didn't work out for me so I returned it and he put up no fuss and just said "well let me go ahead and get that fixed for you" and got the bill down and I told him I hadn't got a bill because they hadn't updated my address so he fixed that and took the late fees off, just like that. I could not believe it.

I have been with verizon and ampd. Verizon has been no help to me except when I moved here and was in a known trouble spot and they let me out for free. My bills would always be way more than they should and would never get fixed. Ampd just plain sucks due to their completely screwed up system and support, I hate them, and I cant wait to fix my problems with them and get out.

When I had my sprint phone I never had a billing problem, if I did, it would be for a little slip up like them charging me for online stuff and I would simply send it a check for the amount I actually owed with a note and never had a single problem. I was surprised to see they still maintain their great support and customer service, if I had this problem, even though it was not my fault, with any other company, I am sure they would have tried their best to charge me the full amount. Sprint is a great and supportive company and are very open and easy to deal with if they happen to make a mistake on your bill.

I have got to say my experience them far surpasses both verizon and ampd...ampd needs to be shut down until they learn how to get their customers accounts stable and stop erasing their phone conversation history when one of their reps admits something that points out one of their mistakes to cover themselves.

Sorry I am just so pissed at ampd, their waiting times for support both online and on the phone have gone up 3-4x in one month, what does that tell you!?
