does anyone know the terms of lost phone?

i am trying to find out what happens when a phone is lost. i went to the sprint website and all they reccomend is to call their lost phone service line. do they report the lost phone so that it is no longer available for activation? i know there is a $50 charge. do they give you the same phone you lost? (i have the protecton plan) but i had to get a replacement phone and i was told that if my phone needs another replacement that they would give me a different phone. PLEASE HELP!

when you call about the phone & report it lost they shut the phone off. It gets marked as a lost phone & cannot be reactivated unless you find it. I had to call the local Police department & get a report number to file for a lost phone through the insurance, but if you already got another phone then I doubt you could file for a lost phone.

Sprint Normally replaces your phone with a new model in case the exisitng model is no longer available. Since you have a protection plan go and ask them for a new phone and get it activated.

Please note... even with full insurance you will still hae to pay a $50 deductable.. and you will get your phone shipped to you directly from Esurian.. as apposed to no insurence and not having that option
