Caller ID problem

Hey all, My name's Matt & I just stumbles on your forum so thought I'd join.

Anyways, I got a problem with my phone. When I call someone's house it shows up as "Ohio Call". I have another phone on my plan & it has my name pop up or Cellular Call depending on the home phone. but my first cell phone doesn't do that. What can cause that & can it be fixed without switching numbers?

TTT. Still got the problem & sprint was of no help.

Are the numbers different between the two phones? Activated at the same time or different times?

This all has to do with your provider. There's not really anything you can from your end.

The numbers are different, and the phone that has no caller id issue was added in August of 06. WhenI contacted Sprint about it a while back they changed the settings, but it still shows up as Ohio Call. They told it is a problem through the land line provider. Is that possible that I need to get ahold of AT&T to get that taken care of?
