    Why on earth would you close this thread? That makes absolutly no sense. People are still replying to this thread in a positive sense, just because a few of you think its silly that I created a detailed account of my events does not seem like a good reason to just shut my thread down. If you dont like my thread then why not just stay out of it? It sounds like you want to read this thread and you want to bash on it otherwise why even continue posting? Sheesh.

It just makes me wonder why the moderators on a Cell Phone forum seem to think it is stupid to post detailed messages about cell phone related experiences? This is very confusing.

    The post in question was funny, I was in tears laughing. True story...

    I too have had bad experiences with cell phone companies, but I didnt write a 10 page document.

    See this post...short and sweet.
    By the way on the 22nd when my two Nextel lines get disconnected,
    I fully expect the wong phones will be affected, and several hours with several customer service reps.
    I also fully expect ETF added to my bill similar to my last $600.00 bill.

    Still no 10 pages.
    And no 5 year history lesson.

    I agree, this post should be closed, it serves no purpose.

    I personally don't understand why you find it amusing to trash my 10 page experience. I came here because I wanted to share my experience with Sprint so that others could read it and take it for whatever it was worth to them. It seems like a few of the moderators of the board find that it is more fun to trash it and support others trashing it then simply acknowledging it for what it is, a 10 page story of my past 5 years experience. Just because you might not write something in such great detail does not mean it gives you the right to trash others for doing it. Also, I honestly do not believe any of the people trashing my story even read it from top to bottom, they got bored and decided it would be easier to trash it then actually get involved and ask questions and share their own experiences. I honestly did not know my story would be received by the boards moderators as a threat, but now that I see the forum is heavily funded by cell phone advertisement I suppose it makes sense now. I thank everyone that read my story for the positive comments and personal messages, I honestly do appreciate it. And to those that read the story and do not agree with my frustration I also thank you for giving me the time of day and reading my experience. For those of you that didn't read the story and decided to just trash it for its size alone that don't seem to give a damn about what anyone else thinks, I feel pity for you. Especially moderators that think it’s great to pick on people that are simply trying to share an experience rather than actually moderate the board as they are supposed to do. This thread will eventually be locked because of the moderators "Laying down the smack" so I will continue this thread on other forums that are not paid for by cell phone advertisements and offer and open forum for people to share their stories and frustrations.

    Who and where are you being trashed? I provided and simple solution... for your cellphone plan and possibly your personal life. It's a win - win situation for you and all you can do is accuse people of trashing you. Which TOTALLY FALSE!!!

    I was reading your thread and as long as you're not violating any forum rules it will not and should not be closed, aside from maybe you're post taking up some bandwith i don't see any violations for posting long threads.

    Those that do not want to read such a long threads and don't care to reply in a constructive and respectful manner should just move on or it will be they who get a temp ban for flaming another member.

    The shortcomings of some of these cellphone companies is incredible and is compounded by the fact that they are generally unable to address them competently, if at all.

    From reading your account of things is seems clear that the old "customer comes first" addage did not apply at all but there is also the sense that nobody seemed to know what they were doing. My own business (professional web design) would be dead in a week if I were to deal with my customers like that.

    When things go awry for a customer some of the cellphone companies seem to like to keep you in a whirlwind of complications which serve only to avoid the issue for them yet make it more difficult for the customer; in the hopes that the customer will back off and accept situation and cease the complaints.

    Way to go on toughing it out, Barnacules. Maybe if more people went to this extent then these companies would pay better attention to their customers and their service delivery.

    You should atleast have gotten a free phone and 1 free year's use of it on their tab. They need to remember that word of mouth is a mighty thing: I wouldn't take the chance and sign up with Sprint after reading your posts and perhaps a few others won't as well.
