I hate the contracts for 2 years but I have had good experiences with their phones and overall service. Their coverage is very good in my area and I rarely get dropped calls.
I think the fact that there is little good to say about Sprint is what we call the "internet effect". People tend to only post about bad experices not good ones.

That being said, I had many many worse experiences with Verizon. With Sprint, I have to spend an hour or so on the phone each month when I have a billing error. With Verizon, my phones just didn't work, I never got my voice mail, my text messages arrived days after they were sent, etc. The service, in and of itself, was just awful.
And, their data is terrible. I'm on the web on my phone all the time, and Verizon was just way too slow/expensive on the data front. If you're big into data, then Sprint is usually the way to go.

That said I'd rather spend some extra time on the phone/chekcing over my bill than having poor phone service or coverage.

That said I'd rather spend some extra time on the phone/chekcing over my bill than having poor phone service or coverage. | I sold for both carriers for quite a while, and can honestly say I never saw the type of billing errors Sprint produced from Verizon. With my business phone, it was coded as a Nextel (I bought it right after they made the switch to Ensemble) and I'm fairly sure I was being charged on the OLD Nextel data rate, even though I had an unlimited data plan. No one could figure out what was going on with my service, they repeatedly asked for my SIM # (even though it was a Samsung m500) and I would be billed $100+ per month. So...it was quite a hassle.
I do agree that I'd rather be on my [working] phone with the company than have an electronic brick that didn't function.

I Had To Call Then At Lease 4,5 Times A Month To Make Sure They Werent Going To Shut Off My Phone For Going Over The Spending Limit. They Charge To Much For Such ****y Service. When I First Got My Service They Told Me That It Would Cost Me The Same Amount To Close My Account That I Paid To Get The Account. I Tried To Close It Just A Few Weeks Ago And They Were Going To Charge Me $250. From $150 To That!!!! Wow So Now Im Stuck Till My Contract Is Up, Which They Have Also Added 4 Months Longer. I Hate Sprint And I Would Never Recomend Anyone To Get A New Service With Them. I Would Never Let Anyone I Know Get An Account With Them.
