Nothing covers water damage.

And next time you drop your phone in the drink, just tell them it fell out your car window or something. I drove over my Razr with a one ton van and they replaced the entire phone, albeit a piece at a time, for free!! But if you have water damage, just call the number and pay the diff, cuz they'll send an envelope for you to send back the old phone and nothing will happen if you don't send it ;-)
Re: Sprint Insurance: Replace old phone + pay extra for newer phone???
the answer is NO sprint store won't replace or exchange anything that involve with physical damage. You have to call insurion to get it replace if you have insurance. If you lucky they don't have your phone in stock then they gonna replace you with the next model. Sprint does have a policy now that honor all customers who have insurance if your phone defective and you have insurance you can go into the store request a new phone (same phone that you have) they can order you another one at zero cost. So be careful with those workers who say they can order you the same one with $50buck deductible. They just gonna pocket that
Re: Sprint Insurance: Replace old phone + pay extra for newer phone???
Nah, it doesn't work like that. While Asurion does cover water damage, you can't do the simple "My phones broke, can I just pay the difference for the one I want?" There is a list to follow that shows if a customer's phone isn't in stock, than there are comparable models that can be given instead. I wish it was this easy though..lol
