Your help please. (3 questions) Thanks!!

Three questions for the knowledgable, I tried to make the quesitons short and to the point.THANKS!!

(I'm a verizon customer now)
1.Verizon is expensive and the service/signal doesnt seem to be strong. Having Looked at Sprints plans, it seems as though it may be worth it in the long run to switch. Your thoughts please.

2.Everbody is looking to get a deal, should I shop online for deals or would it be in my best interest to shop locally? I mean, are there better "deals" to be had online? I guess im asking for some tips here.

3.The phone itself, basically I use a phone for what it is intended for, communication, although I do enjoy texting and taking pictures. Internet does not strike my interest. Being a Verizon customer, I do notice that the actual phone itself has something to do with signal strenght/dropped calls. With all that being said, can YOU reccomend a phone for me being that i've given what im looking for?

Ok stop with the caps and bold LOL...

Answers to your questions: they will all be opinions, because everybody has different needs in a carrier.

1. Have you looked at Sprint's coverage in your area? If the signal is good (confirm with a friend) and you want an all-inclusive plan, then sprint is definitely the way to go (Make sure that mobile-to-mobile can be used, as in some of your family has it, because otherwise your minute usage may shoot up depending on how many mobile-to-mobile minutes you use now.)

2. If you go to a Sprint Dealer (not a corporate store) they may lower some of their prices for you (if you bring proof of the price online) otherwise, it may be cheapest to go to Best Buy or Radio Shack (I wouldn't buy a refurb phone from them though).

3. Almost all newer phones have similar reception, if you are comparing to an older phone, it is because that phone has Analog (Analog towers are being slowly shut down, FCC mandated E911 capability and that can only be done on Digital towers). Although if you are looking for a good price and good functionality then try a Samsung phone, however if you are looking for something you can drop I would try a Sanyo phone. To recommend anything more, I would have to know if you like slider phones, flip phones, and how many pictures you take.

If you need anymore help, just ask.

Hope this helps, Chris
