After spending so much on a new phone, what is up with Sprint charging an activation fee? Feeling like they should pay me! Anyone able to have the fee waived?

There are many ways to waive the activation fee: switch to a corporate account through your company, ask the CSR, get a package deal at time of purchace, etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. I asked the CSR and she removed it. I had signed a package deal and an activation fee wasn't even discussed. So alls well that ends well, for now.....
