Well, since hands down Nokia makes the best phones, and Sprint doesn't have any available, I was wondering what unlocked CDMA models are able to be used on Sprint PCS. Could someone that knows about this stuff help me out?

'unlocked' and 'CDMA' don't go in the same sentence, sorry.

Not necessarily. CDMA phones can have a subsidy lock (I believe Sprint phones do), which prevents them from being activated on other carriers. It's just that CDMA carriers (in North America) don't use SIM cards. If I remember correctly, CDMA carriers in certain parts of Asia use R-UIM cards (basically SIM cards). With a SIM card, it is more flexible to switch phones and unlocking them becomes more of a benefit. Given that not all CDMA carriers use SIM cards (R-UIM cards), the idea of locking or unlocking phones is mostly a GSM concept. In fact, for the most part, all GSM carriers use the same standards and, thus, a standard for locking or unlocking phones has essentially become the norm. Conversely, VZW and Sprint use different standards. VZW phones use BREW, for example, while Sprint phones use Java. Sprint phones are subsidy locked, while VZW phones aren't. In any case, CDMA phones can be locked and, thus, unlocked. It's just that there's very little benefit to doing so, because you can't just pop in a SIM card and go. CDMA phones have to be activated by the carrier.
