Monthly Plans

I have been thinking about switching to a family plan on sprint because for about 5 years of virgin mobile I've just about hit my limit.

I've been extremely interested in the Samsung Instinct S30, but buying that phone through sprint REQUIRES some type of data plan. Since a Family Data plan is just a little bit out of my price range I was curious if it's possible to get a standard 100$/month Fam. Everything messaging plan with one of the free junk phones and then buy a Samsung Instinct s30 and trade SIM Cards. This assuming that this phone DOES use a SIM card.

Would this possible? I am also willing to unlock the phone if needed...

Thanks for your time!

Unfortunately, Sprint CDMA phones do not have SIM cards. But you should be able to find a decent family plan with all you can eat or share. Sprint will probably be best at this than Verizon and ATT.

Thanks for that helpful info (:
So If I'm getting this right, It isn't possible to use this phone for sprint without a Data plan? Also i was wondering...Do blackberries have SIM Cards?
P.S. Sorry for all the annoying simple questions, When it comes to phone specs I'm just about brainless...xD
