Due to the loss of post paid subscribers, Sprint is trying something new with a pre-paid plan with the help of Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile. Sprint has announced that they will begin offering a new pre-paid multi brand strategy which will provide new plans along with new phones.

Virgin Mobile will introduce the "Beyond Talk" which will bring unlimited messaging, email and data plans that will range from $25, $40 and $60 a month beginning on May 12th. Another plan by Sprint involves a new pay by the minute which could start as early as this month and will target those "budget-conscious customers who spend less than $30 per month and are focused on the value they pay per minute."
