Info: Virgin reception

Thanks for not answering the question!! I gave up on Virgin and never to return.................... Took it back, POS!!!

What do you mean by "mini-tower"? Do you want some type of repeater to improve the reception?

Because no one responded to my question, you do the work to find out... Clue, SPRINT has them, for SPRINT!!!

As far as I know, those devices that Sprint has aren't compatible with Virgin Mobile phones. There are other devices that will work, but they are costly.

The lack of replies might be due to the lack of details in your first post. If you explained the situation a little more there probably would have been a reply sooner.

Did you find another provider that gets good reception in your area?

My first post, "Anybody have a mini tower to help this?" Kinda sorta simple I thought.. Point is that Virgin is owned by SPRINT but the SPRINT tower knows the phones that are bouncing off their towers and Virgin does not go first, thus it is not as good as SPRINT!! Because Virgin was for the birds I receive a mini tower from SPRINT and all is good.. BYE Virgin..

Is it possible that your Sprint phone is roaming? Sprint offers roaming, but Virgin Mobile does not, and that could cause a difference in coverage.

I use a M520 by Samsung have had it for about 7 or 8 years....

That's a nice phone. I actually wanted that phone a few years ago, back when I was thinking about getting Sprint.

Have you thought about upgrading to an Android phone, or are you happy with more basic phones?

No update for me as I do not need all the toys on my phone as I wouldn't use them. I am one of those that think
texting is a waste of time, Just me..............
