its been going around for a while that if you get a new phone they can hook up your old phone at the sprint store and transfer the numbers across...anybody confirm this? also do you know if you can transfer your phone book to your computer?

Yes, you can transfer your old number from your old phone to your new phone. Sprint does, however, charge you for this (they charged me $36 for the transfer from my LG 5350 to my Treo 600). As for your phone book, that depends on the phone. If your phone is PC compatible and supports that feature, yes. Otherwise, no.

I just bought my new phone yesterday and the guy never told me they could transfer the phone numbers. Oh well, i woudlnt have spent the money anyway...i just miss all those ringtones and pictures i took over the past few months...its a small price to pay for a sweet new phone!

    transfer phone numbers

The sprint operator told me it was possible to transfer phone numbers but i would have to go to a sprint store. She didn't mention any cost... I think it isn't possible with my old phone cos it isnt pc compatible.
