simcard swapping isnt working!!

Hello all,

I just recently bought a prepay phone and I used my sim card(which is active) from another T mobil phone. Do I have to call T mobil to activate it somehow? I was led to believe it was just a simple migration. and all I had to do is swap the card?

btw Im using a sim out of a nokia and installing it in a motorola and the chip is the same for either.

I hope I dont have to call t mobil! can anyone help?

Phone mysteriously worked just as I was calling Tmobil today. I was pretty happy apparently sometimes it takes a little time before it is connected.
