Tmobile.. contract and help questions

Hi, I have been reading your posts and I dont know how you all can complain and get phones.. All I want is a new different contract and I am getting nowhere! Please help!

This is my story...

I have a family plan with tmobile

on tmobile we have three numbers... two are under contract and one is not.

My daughter wants more minutes and a new phone, hers is the one not under contract.

I want to cancel her from my account and take advantage of a web offer where she can get ... minutes for 39.99 including a new phone.

According to Tmobile - I can not take advantage of the web offer because I am not a "new customer" I told them I would be a new customer as this is a new account.. still keeping the old account.

I tried to use this logic

1.) I can stick with Tmobile
2.) I can go somewhere else..

There reply ~ You are not a new customer!

Does anyone know how I can get around this? I do want to stick with tmobile so I can get the free mobile to mobile minutes.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding the wording of you post but I'll try to answer and explain: You best bet for her is to open her own account (she should be a new customer) Ans she should get all the benifits. I'm not sure what you mean by three #'s let me know if your family plan includes her or not as far as mobile to mobile minutes from my understanding all t-mobile phones have this ability (I may be wrong so double check) Also you can change your plan whenever you want as to take advantage of newer and better plans. Just keep in mind when you change your plan you renew another contract for at least a year. Hope I helped, give me an update in this thread

Yes I mean by three numbers we have a family plan but for some reason my husbands number and my number have a contract but hers does now. It did at one time but expired and when I got new phones for my husband and I we had to agree to another year.

I have thought about getting one in her name but I want the bills to come to me as she is still a teenager and at home..

But I just might have to do that.

I dont mind signing a contract, I have been with tmobile for a very long time.

and yes I think mobile to mobile minutes with tmobile are free that is why I want to stay with them

Maybe I will call and see if I can get one under my daughters name.

Thanks!!!

We got the phone and the contract. It was not easy though, we had to go through the office of the CEO
