Buy working SIM card

Does T-Mobile cell SIMcards that work for prepaid? Or do you have to buy a cellphone with it?

you can get a t-mobile sim card to ebay. it's already activated and all you have to do is, once you receive the sim card, give t-mobile a ring and they gonna change the area code. let say the sim card that you buy have an california area code and t-mobile will change that to your local area code. it's worth it! that's what im using now. i think i pay $15 and already have $50 worth of load to a sim card.

if you want to just go to a TMobile dealer, they are 19.99 plus tax.. then call in to activate it with the Tmobile to go department

yes! you can do that but they charge you activation fee. sim card from ebay is already activated for the price that very cheap.

Any recommended Ebay sellers ? I notice an outfit called Boardwalk with lots for sale. Any good ?

Also, can one use these SIMS for 'dial through' cheap calls (I have come across something called Gorilla which gives UK calls at 5 cents pm from pre-registered nos. through a NY dial-up number).
