Motorola V300-turn off power on tones/music

Good morning. I am new at this so don't shoot me. I just got a Motorola V300 thru T-Mobile. Is there anyway to turn off the power on/off start up tone/music on this phone? I have looked at all the settings and don't see anything that allows me to do this. Thanks for any assistance---Jerry

Make a ringtone with your moto mixer and save it as Start~up or Power~down then delete it. Thats the easiest way I know of, and spelling is case sensitive with the tilde key included.
