I am a certified cell phone noob, so please bear with me. I just got a Sharp T150 phone and have been playing around with the SD card. I first tried to put mp3s on it to load onto my handset, but then realized it wouldn't read to format. So I found a mp3->wav and a wav->smaf converter and converted a song to see if I could figure it out. I got my phone to recognize the smaf file, but it will not play it.
I'm no noob to online forums, I spend tons of time on them. I searched and read the links at the top of the page. But I do not really know what my problem is so I couldn't find a definate answer. If someone could take a minute out of their day and help me out, that would be awesome.

thank you griff, but im not exactly an expert on all mmf things, like the sharp phone for example (sorry!), but i do know that when you convert the wav->mmf that the clip should be between 10-15 seconds, and the right bitrate depending on what capabilities the phone has, i'll try to find out more about the sharp phone and i'll post up what kind of setting the file needs to have.

you got it man, and let me ask you, do you think your site designing thread would be okay for mmf files too? if i gave you an mmf file to post on your site do you think we could test it out, cuz i may as well start an mmf site like your mp3 site to help out all these good folks here at cpf

I tried mmf file but geocities doesn't support them if you can find a free hosting site that supports them it would be worth it and I'd be more than happy to help with it

well, i have a site but its only for mobile phones, its www.tagtag.com/kinjutsu and i have a bunch there, so i guess i just could expand on that, but the site will NOT be viewable on a regular computer at all, only on phones via WAP
