I just got a data cable to use with my A630 and I was wondering if it's possible to use T-Zones to access the internet on my laptop. A friend of mine does it using his Sprint service, but is it possible to do so for me?

    Thank you for nothing.

I appreciate the response, but I mean, what's the point of responding when you don't give me any information that I can use?

you need the data cable, the feature to use the internet on your phone, which with t-mobile i believe is $20/month for unlimited use, and the software, which i believe is motorola's own software, but im not %100 on that, i'll find out from someone i know and post again later, in the mean time this is what i have...

The A630 has bluetooth, right? If so, just get the usb bluetooth adapter for your laptop and you should be able to easily setup dialup networking through bluetooth.

You can use t-zones to do this, but you have to keep current with everything that is going on... T-Mobile does not want you to use the Internet for $5.99, they really want you to pay for their VPN... $20...

If you sign up for T-Mobiles VPN Access (which is very good), the number you set bluetooth to dial is *99#
The phone part of the setup you can have T-Mobile walk you through... Just Dial 611 from your phone, or call 1-800-937-8997

My laptop has internal Bluetooth, so I won't need the adapter.

I have T-Zones [$4.99/month] and if I can use that, it would be great.

Do you by chance know how the number to set Bluetooth to dial for that is?

For my VPN access I have to dial: *99#

MAke sure you disable the use of dialing rules under the properties of the bluetooth connection as well...
