Im not sure if this should be in the samsung section but heres the situation:
I currently have a samsung e-105, however the lcd screen is broken. I am getting a samsung e-315 as a replacement phone. the e-105 still works its just that you cannot view the internal screen. All of my phone numbers are on the sim card of the e-105, is it possible to get these transferred onto the e315?

If all the numbers are on the SIM Card, then when you get your new phone you can just put the SIM Card in the new phone and should have all your numbers in your phonebook... That's why I love SIM Cards... so easy to switch phones...
If you have your manual for the e-105, you might want to see if there is a step by step instruction page to take you through button by button to make sure all your numbers are on the SIM Card.Did I help you? Thats exactly why I stored all of my numbers on the sim card.
But will this work if I cancel the plan for the e-105 and start up a new plan for the 315 (for the discount on the phone) while keeping my current number?

I am not so sure about all those discounts... you still pay an activation fee and all that crap, right? So how much did you really save? You should probably find the phone elsewhere online... but I don't know... I asked about this same question in another thread... now I am all confused on how to save money on a new phone!

Well activation fee is paid through the carrier, its $30 i think with tmobile. And then you get the discounts after so many monthes of using the plan in the form of a rebate.
Ive done it before and was very happy with how it worked out (getting a free phone + service plan)

I remember doing it on my samsung E105, a few months ago. i was able to copy all phone# to sim in one shot rather than one by one. Then I put the old sim in the new razr and transferred everything to the phone.
