Sorry, but I think you canīt block anybody, the only possibility is not to answer and let you give the mobilbox by t-mobile which calls you. This has the advantage that you do not have extra costs and you don not answer any call you do not want to receive. I have this an mobilbox and I never answer unknown members or numbers I have never seen before!

Actually, your phone probably has this function, but with another firmware for the same phone from another country. As far as I know, looks like T-mobile like to locks up a lot of the phone features so that they can push people to swtich to new phones.

My Samsung E-715 got call blocking and video taking features after flashing it with a South America firmware.

Is it what you want to say that T-Mobile has launched a kampaign to get the own customers to buy new phones which got the technology?

I am not sure if they are really doing this or not, but looks like it me.
Why the hell does the T-mobile version firmware of my Samsung E715 locks up and made hidden the video capturing function when the phone itself actually have such function? The Tectel firmware from Mexico of the same phone offer so much more functions for you to play with.
If that is not the case, you tell me what it is.

I am even able to get rid of that stupid T-mobile text lay on top of my screen wallpaper all the time with that other firmware. The top of my clam shell phone already have the T-mobile logo, I don't need another one inside it.

Sorry, I did not want to say that I could not imagine T-Mobile has launched that kampaign, but I think they would get some serious problems if anybody finds something out! And I never thought in this direction bevor!

That they started this kampaign is without doubt imaginable, but I think this is out of topic in here!

T-mobile didnt lock any features on that phone, the firmware on the e715 allows the phone to work in the states, using the south american firmware, the e715 doesnt work well (or at all for that matter) but you get the extra features. So you can get a useless phone with more features, or a phone that works with most but not all features. And the video quality of the recordings suck on that firmware, they were terrible when i tried it, so i flashed back to the proper e715 f/w

oh, and T-mobile, when it comes to firmware, have to apply there own things in it, such as links for "My Album", "HiFi Ringers", etc, which is why you can't take the logo off the inside screen. Its called branding, every provider does it, and its not some sort of crazy "kampaign" launched by t-mobile. And wasnt this thread about blocking unknown numbers?
