I don't get what youre complaining about, rate plan change 2 years ago, overage now because they didn't change your rate plan, shouldnt you have checked to make sure you were on the right rate plan within those 2 years. Thats a long time to wait to find out you're not geting what you were promised. Shouldn't you have been more "on top of the ball". And they did give you the 1000, so just make sure they change the plan and then you can always check the status of your acount online (i'm assuming you can go online considering you are sending emails back and forth with t-mobile anyway)

Thats the problem with most wireless customers today, they do now check their accounts in the many ways t-mobile allows them to. They just think because "i asked for this then thats what they gave me, done, period end of story." Thats not how it works, i mean, when you change a subscription on your cable bill you see the change on the TV right? Then if you change a subscription, or "feature", on your phone you need to see the change, because otherwise its all word of mouth. You can "see" the changes made to your account online and its all detailed, no room for errors or liars, whichever side they may be on. If your cell phone bill is such a high priority in your life (among plenty of other bills i'm sure) then you need to take care of your account to ensure you get what you pay for, and that you dont pay for more than you need. Its like doing your taxes, you wanna make sure you get as much back as possible so you take the time to go through your receipts and such, do the same with your account, pay attention to it!

    Once again Vid,

If you make any changes to the account you count on the person representing T-mobile to be honest, upstanding, smart (knowleadgeable with the products), courteous, etc. That's how I would run a business there's no room for losers, with this philosophy in mind, you EXPECT to TRUST them with what they say afterall the assumption is made that you are talking and dealing with an ADULT not a kindergartener, or a child that needs to be walked through the motions and the process, and that needs to held by the hand when making changes to the account. Most people trust what the rep is telling them and will not check their bill based on that trust, because:
a.) if there is no overage then the account is fine, and the rep did his/her job
b.) i've never had an issue with t-mobile and count on them to be reputable
c.) i know that if something should go wrong I can communicate with them (well that was BEFORE)

No matter how much you make the excuse that since T-mobile gives you many optiond to make/check changes on your account, it comes down to TRUST.

Otherwise let's put in the contracts a clause stating the need to babysit T-mobile when making changes to the account because they will be in no WAY liable for their employees and their actions.

    Vid,
you've got to admit NOT all apples are bad on both sides but you will definetely hear more from a bad experience than a praise from a good experience.

Yes we expect that from t-mobiles reps, but do you get that from all the reps, no, some are, to be frank, morons, who don't even know how to pop open a battery from the back of your phone. Either way, yes, people have their good and bad experiences, but its not fair to blow one up completely to tip the scales against t-mobile. I mean, they are a business and everything they do is for a reason, and yes, the company does need to make money. Now granted through their own mistakes it wouldnt be fair, but thats when the proper credits are issued to ones account.
And RippedOff - if you saw it on a bill and then not see it later a light should kinda go off and you should kinda question t-mobile as to why your minutes disappeared, right? You can't just let things hang especially when its clearly noticable on your bill. You do have the email that may save you, but its partly your fault for not acting upon it the second you noticed that discrepency. Also, they can do an account research for you to see when the mintues were there to where they disappeared and to see what changes where made to your account, if someone called in for it etc. good luck.

Maybe thats why T-Mobile won't help him, because he won't listen to anyone. If he won't listen to what other people are saying to try and help him out and come up with a decent conclusion, how do you expect T-Mobile to help him? I mean he said "The only rudeness must be going on in your brain". you telling me thats not rude? And your emoticon doesnt tell us what kind of a person you are or if you're calm about the whole thing or not, which you, believe it or not, AREN"T. Oh, and my CAPS wasn't me being loud or not calm or anything, its to emphasizer a point! Later
