I currently have a Verizon plan where i pay 39.95 a month. i was looking on the T-mobile web page and saw that for the same price i can get 1500 minutes. i currently never talk over my minutes, but would prefer to have a GSM phone. can someone tell me how good service coverage in the boston north area, as well as in upstate new york, Ithaca area. Thanks.

skier, check out the t-mobile Personal Coverage Check Tool. The tool offers a detailed street level map of anticipated coverage for virtually any address within the U.S. Basically, the darker the green, the stronger the signal. I live in an area where, according to the coverage map, it says I get average to good signal. However, I never have any trouble using my t-mobile service at home.

Thanks for the advice i appreciate it. i currently use less then 1000 total mins per month, so i am not worried about over talking this plan. are t-mobile user generally satisfied with their service? currently using Verizon i cant stand them. i think they have become to big for their own good. Their in store customer management is horrible, one time they told me they had to put me on an hour and half waiting list just so i can return something, because i accidentally bought the wrong product. When i call to try and change something on my service, a simple process ends up taking almost an hour, even though i am upgrading my plan, its ridiculous! The only thing Verizon has going for them is the Verizon to Verizon minutes, which end up reducing my bill quite significantly.

I'm satisfied with T-mobile, I haven't gone wrong with them yet. I'm sure you will be also.
